RESIDENTIAL GARDEN SERVICES

Whitstable courtyard

In this small courtyard sculptural pots planted with trees have been positioned around  a seating area, immediately changing the feel of this area from a hard space into somewhere inviting. Drought tolerant perennials are planted through gravel and will self-seed as the garden matures.

Here a gravel garden has been created in the courtyard of a newly refurbished house.

The challenge here is  that this is a small space with hard surfaces on all sides.

2 large trees have been positioned in simple, sculptural pots provide dappled shade to the seating area and immediately change the feel of the space into somewhere inviting, where you sit surrounded by nature.

A gravel stabilisation grid laid over a permeable hardcore base has been used to give a firm base in the sitting areas and beneath the paths, making the surface suitable for wheelchair users.

Drought tolerant perennials have been planted through the gravel and will self -seed as the garden matures.
